Joaquin Correa has joined Inter in the final days of the summer transfer window.
The Argentine striker is on loan at Inter, but the reigning champions have an obligation to buy him.
The 27-year-old has played 15 games with the Neroazzuri so far, where he has scored four goals and provided one assist.
He has said that Lazio’s three-year adventure has been fantastic for him, with two trophies won, but that the time had come for a new adventure.
“I was at Lazio for three seasons, we won two trophies, and we won 12 games in a row, thus setting a record for the club. “The experience at Lazio is something I remember with a lot of love, but I think the moment had come and I wanted to leave”, declared Correa.
The Argentine further said that there were other offers, but he also chose Inter for the fact that his compatriot, Lautaro Martinez, was there.
“When we were together in the Copa America, Lautaro told me I had to join Inter. “Then Calhanoglu and Vidal told me the same thing.”
“I had other offers, but I really wanted to work with Inzaghi again. He is a great coach, that makes you feel good. “It is perfect for Inter,” said Correa.
