Chelsea know Richarlison’s dream as Thomas Tuchel steps up transfer interest in Everton star

Chelsea are seriously considering making a move for Everton forward Richarlison this summer. has been told recently the Brazil international is very much admired by Blues head coach Thomas Tuchel.

It’s understood that Tuchel likes Richarlison’s physical attributes and believes the 25-year-old would be a good fit for Chelsea’s attacking line. The Brazilian forward, who can play out wide and in the centre of attack, has two years remaining on his contract with Everton.

There is, though, a feeling at Goodison Park that Richarlison could be sold this summer. However, Everton will demand over £50million for their Brazilian striker, after the Toffees bought the forward for £35m – rising to £50m in add-ons – from Watford in 2018.

Chelsea are in the market for a new attacker, with Romelu Lukaku looking set to leave the club on a loan deal to return to Inter Milan. understands Lukaku is very confident he will complete a return to the San Siro, despite some complications over finances in the loan deal.

Once the Lukaku deal goes through, all being well with all three parties hopeful of a positive outcome, this could then see the Blues act on their interest on Richarlison. Some previous quotes from the Everton forward, though, suggest that he still dreams of playing Champions League football at Goodison Park one day.

Hayes full of praise for ‘amazing’ Kerr
Chelsea Women boss Emma Hayes feels Sam Kerr’s made a big impact since her arrival in 2020.

Speaking just a few months ago, the Brazil striker said: “Look, we got a coach who fit in the team, which was [Carlo] Ancelotti. Unfortunately he had to leave, he went to Real Madrid.

“He was a guy who arrived here, he managed to fix the team. He brought in James Rodriguez too, who helped a lot, and we almost got there. We were, if I’m not mistaken, three or four points from the Europa League. That was one of our goals.
