Football club Bayern Munich has dismissed speculation that they would be interested in Manchester United player Cristiano Ronaldo, German media reported.

Bayern CEO Oliver Kahn said signing the 37-year-old Portuguese would be “against the club’s philosophy,” Kicker magazine reported.
Ronaldo wants to leave Manchester United and join a club where he would play in the Champions League. United finished sixth in the Premier League last season, and will play in the Europa League this season.
Ronaldo has won five Champions League titles, four with Real Madrid (2014, 2016, 2017, 2018) and one with Manchester United (2008).

British media reported that Manchester United will release Ronaldo for 15 million euros.
