Cristiano Ronaldo’s manager, Jorge Mendes, has told interested clubs that the Portuguese ace is ready to accept a 30% lower salary than the one he earned at Manchester United.
This information comes after seven elite clubs gave up on the possible transfer of Ronaldo. Atlético Madrid is now in the game, but few believe that an agreement can be reached between them and the Spanish first division.
Ronaldo’s current salary at United is 560,000 euros per week, which means that anyone who would bring him home would have to pay him 400,000 euros each week. That is again a serious amount, which is over 20 million euros annually.
