Barcelona’s economic strength continues to grow even though just half a year ago the club was on the verge of bankruptcy.

This morning, the president Joan Laporta announced that another 15% of the club’s television rights for the next 25 years have been sold and 400 million euros have been earned from them. This will solve all the financial problems that the club has had in recent months and Barcelona can return to the cream of European football.

Previously, the same company (Sixth street) was sold another 10 percent of the television rights for the sum of 200 million euros. So far, Barcelona has spent 98 million euros on reinforcements, but that amount was expected to exceed the limit of 200 million because Bernardo Silva and Gilles Cunde have also been announced at the Camp Nou. It is possible that Barca will sell one of the players, especially Frankie de Jong, for whom they are asking for 80 million euros.
