Former Chelsea player Antonio Rudiger made a less unexpected and confusing statement, saying in a recent interview that while he was a Blues player, he made mistakes on purpose.
The 29-year-old Rudiger moved to Real Madrid this summer, and now he has a very interesting statement that will not go down well with the fans in London.
Rudiger cited last season’s mistake when Newcastle dramatically beat them 1-0 as one of the examples in which he was deliberately wrong.
He then performed a bizarre leap to the delight of the home fans, which later went viral on social media.
“I’ll be honest, I made a few mistakes on purpose, because it was too quiet for me in the stadiums, I wanted to challenge the fans. Many times I made mistakes on purpose in the matches..,” Rüdiger claims.
