Inter general manager Giuseppe Marotta has spoken about the future of goalkeeper Andre Onana, who has been linked with a move away in the summer transfer window.
Onana came in the summer as a free transfer to Inter, but has convinced everyone with the level shown by leaving veteran Samir Handanovic on the bench.
His good performances in Serie A and especially in the Champions League by not conceding a goal in seven games have made Onana in demand.
The English club, Chelsea, is rumored to be the most interested, being reported that they are ready to pay 40 million euros for the transfer of the goalkeeper.
However, the general director of Inter, Marotta has ruled out such a thing in favor of Onana’s stay at Inter.
“Onana leaves for 40 million euros? I would rule that out, honestly. We think he will stay”, said Marotta first.
“We have not received any offer and Onana is happy in Milan, he wants to stay here. We don’t plan to sell him”, concluded the director of Inter.
