Fiorentina and Inter are ready for the big final of the Coppa Italia for the 2022/23 edition that takes place at the Olimpico from 21:00 and the coaches of both teams are expected to start with the best possible formations.
The Nerazzurri are the defending champions of the Coppa Italia and have already lifted the trophy eight times. The Tuscans have won the Coppa Italia six times and lost the last final they played in 2014 against Napoli.
These two teams have also reached the Champions League and Conference League finals this season, which is why Italian media refer to today’s match as the ‘Final of Finalists’.
Inter and Fiorentina won one match each in Serie A this season. The Nerazzurri won 4-3 in Florence in October, while the Tuscans secured a 1-0 win at the San Siro in April.
Only Salvatore Sirigu is not available for Fiorentina, while Inter are without the injured Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Milan Skriniar.
Two doubts for the Italian coach of Fiorentina: Lucas Martinez Quarta is the favorite over Luca Ranieri in attack, while Gaetano Castrovilli should start in the center of the midfield leaving Rolando Mandragora initially on the bench.
There is no doubt about Inter with Lautaro and Dzeko in attack and Romelu Lukaku starting the game from the bench. Goalkeeper Andre Onana is also expected to start from the bench.
Possible formations
Fiorentina (4-2-3-1): Terracciano; Dodo, Milenkovic, Martinez Quarta, Biraghi; Amrabat, Castrovilli; Icons, Bonaventura, Nico Gonzalez; Cabral;
Inter (3-5-2): Handanovic; Darmian, Acerbi, Bastoni; Dumfries, Barella, Brozovic, Calhanoglu, Dimarco; Lautaro Martinez, Dzeko.
