Milan have officially signed Samuel Chukwueze from Villarreal in a deal worth around 28 million euros, including bonuses, while signing a contract valid until 2028.
The Nigerian striker arrived yesterday for his medical and passed them successfully, signing the five-year contract today.
A statement from the red and black confirmed that Chukëueze has chosen jersey number 21 for this season at San Siro.
“AC Milan is pleased to announce the signing of Samuel Chimerenka Chukwueze from Villarreal CF. The Nigerian striker has signed for the Reds and Blacks until June 30, 2028,” says the announcement of the Rossoneri.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Sportitalia and several other media, the deal was reached for 20 million euros plus up to another 8 million euros in various performance-related bonuses.
On the other hand, Milan have also loaned defender Matteo Gabbia to Villarreal for a season, with no option to buy.
Otherwise, Chukwueze scored 13 goals and provided 11 assists in 50 competitive appearances for Villarreal last season.
