Man United and Atalanta close to agreement for Hojlund

A deal between Manchester United and Atalanta to sign Rasmus Hojlund is getting closer, according to Sky Sports.

The Red Devils are confident they can sign the striker before the start of the Premier League season.

The striker would become the third signing of the summer after Andre Onana and Mason Mount.

More than 100 million euros of Erik ten Hag’s 140 million budget have been spent so far.

United insist they are unwilling to pay more than €70m for Hojlund, despite Atalanta’s desire for more.

The Dane scored 16 times last season, nine of which were in Serie A, while also netting five goals in two games for his country in March.
