Franck Kessie looks set to return to Serie A after just one year at Barcelona.
The midfielder from the Ivory Coast is Juventus’ main target for the midfield department.
Because the transfer is close to being completed, the African did not appear at all in the friendly match that Barcelona played with Milan.
This has been confirmed by the coach of Barcelona, Xavi Hernandez.
“Franck did not play because of a small injury. As for his future, I can say that he knows exactly how the situation is”, said Xavi.
With the arrival of Ilkay Gundogan and Oriol Romeu, Kessie’s spaces in the Barcelona formation are even more limited, as there are also Pedri, De Jong and Gavi.
The Catalans aim to earn around 30 million euros from the sale of the midfielder, a sum that Juventus is trying to reduce even more.
