Premier League trophy in the dark – Edu explains to Timber why they left it like that

Jurrien Timber has joined Arsenal from Ajax this summer and the defender took a tour of the club’s facilities with sporting director Edu Gaspar.

He was taken to a section that had a dark cutout from the Premier League trophy, which he explained to Ed can be lit from the inside.

“Here, we leave the trophy dark like this, but down there, there’s a way to make it bright. We’ll make him shine when we win the Premier League,” the manager told the Gunners’ new signing.

While Jurrien Timber replied: “I like this, I like this!”

Arsenal fans will be hoping that that dark side is brightened at the end of the 2023/24 season.
