Inter have reportedly opened talks with Tottenham for defender Japhet Tanganga.
The Nerazzurri are keen to strengthen their back line following the departures of Milan Skriniar and Danilo D’Ambrosio last month.
Yann Aurel Bisseck joined from Aarhus for around €7 million and the club are now looking to add another defender to Simone Inzaghi’s squad.
Tanganga has ended up on the periphery of the project at Spurs and is not expected to feature much under new manager Ange Postecoglou. Last season, he saw just 343 minutes in seven total appearances.
As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Inter have contacted Tottenham to begin exploring a move for Tanganga. While no bid has yet been made, the North London outfit have made it clear they would be willing to accept a loan move with an option to buy attached.
The Nerazzurri are still considering their options, but talks with Spurs could progress in the coming weeks.
