Serie A will be the most unpredictable league in the title race in Europe’s top five leagues this season, according to supercomputer Opta, with Inter favourites.
The Scudetto has gone to different teams in each of the past four years, with Juventus taking it to Inter, followed by Milan and then Napoli claim ing their first trophy in more than three decades.
All this contributes to the increasingly open battle for the Serie A trophy and makes it the most unpredictable league in Europe.
Supercomputer Opta calculated that Inter are the favourites, but even they have only a 43.6 percent chance of coming out on top.
In comparison, the Premier League is treated as a foregone conclusion, with a 90.2 percent chance of Manchester City retaining the title.
Bayern Munich have a 69.3 percent chance of winning the Bundesliga, PSG have a 57.3 percent chance of retaining the Ligue 1 trophy and Carlo Ancelotti’s Real Madrid are favorites ahead of Barcelona in La Liga.
