Bayern Munich are expected to make a last-ditch effort to sign Harry Kane from Tottenham Hotspur before the start of the Premier League this weekend.

The German champions have already had at least three bids for the Englishman rejected this summer. The 30-ye ar-old has just one year left on his existing contract with Spurs and appears unwilling to sign a renewal.

Sky Sports reports that Bayern Munich is preparing a new offer worth around 110 million euros for the England captain.

If he does not re-sign with Tottenham, he will be able to sign a pre-contract agreement with Bayern in January 2024 and complete the free transfer next summer.

Kane is thought to be keen on a move to Germany but will not let the transfer saga drag on until the end of the month. Reports suggest the 30-year-old wants his future settled ahead of Tottenham’s season opener against Brentford on Sunday.

Spurs face Barcelona in their final pre-season friendly on Tuesday night. Kane is not expected to travel with the squad to Spain after featuring in the 5-1 win over Shakhtar Donetsk last weekend.
