Raphinha has requested the number 11 jersey to wear next season, according to Diario Sport.
After joining Barcelona from Leeds last summer, the winger opted for number 22, as the coveted number was already owned by Ferran Torres.
The number 11 jersey has a personal significance for the Brazilian. He wore it for two seasons in Portugal, including the most fantastic one, 2017/18, in which he scored 18 goals and provided 6 assists for Vitoria Guimaraes.
He still wears the same jersey for his national team. Meanwhile, Ferran has asked for the number 7 shirt, which still belongs to Ousmane Dembele.
The Frenchman has agreed a move to PSG, but Barcelona appear to be trying to delay his departure.
It remains to be seen whether the 26-year-old will leave this summer, paving the way for Ferran to get the shirt he loves.
