Arsenal have turned their attention to the signing of Inter midfielder Nicolo Barella, writes Calciomercato.
The Gunners, however, are unwilling to pay a huge transfer fee for him having already spent over £200m this transfer window.
Instead, Mikel Arteta’s side are ready to offer Inter two players, Folarin Balogun and Takehiro Tomiyasu, for the Italian midfielder.
The Nerazzurri have already shown interest in signing Balogu as a replacement for Romelu Lukaku.
Inter could be tempted by the prospect of taking two players instead of one, but are still not fully convinced of the deal.
It appears that Arsenal could be looking to further improve their midfield following the signing of Declan Rice in the summer.
Barella is an efficient midfielder, having scored 9 goals and provided 10 assists in all competitions for Inter last season.
