Inter have signed goalkeeper Emil Audero from Sampdoria on a loan deal with the right to buy.

The 26-year-old goalkeeper arrived for a medical with Inter on Thursday afternoon, before being flown to the club’s headquarters to formalize the move.

Following the arrival of Yann Sommer from Borussia Moenchengladbach, Inter have now brought in two goalkeepers this summer, having parted ways with Andre Onana and Samir Handanovic this transfer window.

Audero joins Inter from Sampdoria, having started his professional career with Juventus, joining the club’s academy as an 11-year-old in 2008.

He would make one appearance for the Bianconeri first team in the final Serie A game of the 2016/17 season, aged 20.
