Chelsea have confirmed that they will be without six players for the derby against Liverpool.
The two teams start the 2023/24 season by facing each other on Sunday this week, while they aim to start the edition on a good foot.
“The following injury update has been issued ahead of Chelsea’s Premier League match with Liverpool,” the London club’s statement initially read.
“Benoit Badiashile – in final stages of his rehabilitation program”.
“Marcus Bettinelli – continues to undergo his rehabilitation program”.
“Armando Broja – in the final stages of his rehabilitation program”.
“Trevoh Chalobah – in the process of rebuilding (conditioning) to return to team training”.
“Wesley Fofana – continuing with early stages of post-op rehabilitation”.
“Christopher Nkunku – recovering well from surgery and starting rehabilitation,” Chelsea said in a statement.
