Liverpool ask Real Madrid about Tchouameni and Valverde

Liverpool have inquired about Aurelien Tchouameni and Fede Valverde after missing out on the signing of Moises Caicedo, according to The Secret Scout.

The English side have been heavily linked with the Frenchman and the Uruguayan in the past, but could intensify their efforts to sign either player now that they are desperate for a new midfielder.

Real Madrid’s position on the departure of the two players has been very clear for some time now – they are not for sale.

However, if Los Blancos were to accept hefty offers for either player, their transfer fee could be in excess of €120m considering Caicedo cost Chelsea almost that much to move from Brighton.

Liverpool and the Blues are also fighting for Southampton’s Romeo Lavia, with his current value at €60 million.

The Belgian is said to also prefer a move to Stamford Bridge, with the move expected to be finalized this week.
