RMC Sport, David Ornstein and Fabrizio Romano report that Chelsea have activated Crystal Palace striker Michael Olise’s release clause.
The Blues would pay Eagles 40 million euros for the 21-year-old. Personal terms have already been agreed.
The Frenchman is recovering from injury and will not be available immediately after joining Chelsea. He is expected to return at the end of September.
Olise scored two goals and provided 11 assists in 37 Premier League appearances for Palace last season.
The striker spent seven years in Chelsea’s youth teams before leaving at the age of 14.
Chelsea has now planned everything for his medical tests and it is expected that during this week it will become official.
