Todd Boehly and the other co-owners of the London club seem to have no intention of stopping, as they are already approaching Michael Olisen from Crystal Palace for the figure of 40 million euros.
Therefore, with these expenses, Chelsea surpasses La Liga, which has so far spent 894 million euros for a year.
The Blues are escaping punishment from UEFA and the Premier League thanks to the long-term contracts being offered to players, spreading the transfer fee over years, the highest in nine years.
