Barcelona are expected to receive a financial boost before the end of the week, further improving the club’s finances.
According to Mundo Deportivo, Barca sold a 29.5% stake in Barca Vision, a subsidiary that deals with the distribution of image rights, for 120 million euros earlier in August, and will be expected to receive 20 million euros by the end of the week.
The first part of this deal has already been paid, the second part must be done by Sunday, and the final payment must be sent to Barcelona by Wednesday August 29 – two days before the end of the transfer window.
This income is essential for Barcelona to be able to register their players in La Liga.
Inigo Martinez, Marcos Alonso and Inaki Pena are still unable to play, while Barcelona hope to sign Joao Cancelo from Manchester City before the end of the transfer window as well.
