Mbappe rejected a new renewal offer from Paris Saint-Germain

Striker Kylian Mbappe has reportedly rejected Paris Saint-Germain’s new offer to renew his contract.

The name of the French striker is the most talked about this week as he has declared that he will fulfill his contract with PSG until the summer of next year and then leave as a free agent.

This did not sit well with the club leaders from the Parc des Princes giving the player an ultimatum to renew his contract or leave this summer.

However, after several weeks of fighting, it was reported that the sides had reached a truce of sorts and discussions between the management and the player began.

But according to Ramon Alvarez de Mon, a journalist at Marca, the French star met with the club on the night of August 23 and rejected a new renewal offer.

PSG wanted to extend their relationship until 2025 with a private exit clause that summer, but Mbappe refused.

According to the Spanish journalist, the State of Qatar, which leads PSG, leaves the final decision in the hands of President Nasser Al Khelaifi.

“Qatar respects Nasser Al Khelaifi and they leave the final decision in his hands. They can choose to try to convince Mbappe throughout the year or ask for his sale.”

“At the moment, from the economic point of view, they have not convinced the player. The conditions for washing have already been set,” said Ramon Alvarez de Mon.
