Lamine Yamal has made the final decision to play for Spain at senior level, according to Sport’s Jordi Gil.

The player is also eligible to play for Morocco (his father’s country of birth), Equatorial Guinea (his mother’s country of birth) and La Roja.

However, having played for Spain at youth level, Yamal aims to continue his progress with La Roja’s senior team.

Earlier, the coach of the Moroccan national team, Walid Regragui, held meetings with representatives of Yamal before being informed of the player’s decision.
