The fan who jumped on Haaland’s neck is not an ordinary fan, but a former world champion

While Erling Haaland was in no mood to celebrate his goal against Sheffield United after missing numerous chances, one supporter was.

A man from the Manchester City section jumped on Haaland’s back, much to the amusement of the Norwegian and his teammates.

As it turned out, it wasn’t just any ordinary guy, but Terry Flanagan, a retired British fighter who held the WBO lightweight title between 2015 and 2017.

Flagan is a huge Man City fan and once showed off his belt in front of the Etihad crowd, something that is still unlikely to save him from a lengthy stadium ban.

He is expected to miss the Premier League champions’ stadium again because of the pitch and the rules in England are very strict for this part.
