Inzaghi comments on Lukaku’s transfer to Roma: Excellent signing for the Giallorosi

Inter continued to win as they defeated Cagliari with a comfortable score of 0-2.

Denzel Dumfries and Lautaro Martinez scored to give Inter three new points in Serie A and the Neroazzur now lead the table along with Milan, Napoli and Verona with six points each.

The coach of Inter, Simone Inzaghi, expressed himself very happy with the three points won, as he also spoke about the Frenchman Marcus Thuram, who played a good match by assisting the first goal.

“I asked the boys to approach the match well. We were facing a tough team, but we immediately found two goals and then we controlled. We must continue like this”.

“Thuram was very good, he arrived 40 days ago and started working very seriously from day one. He is a player who understands the game, knows when to attack deep. I would have liked him to have scored, he deserved it for the work he did”, declared Inzaghi.

Next, the Italian coach also spoke about the transfer of Romelu Lukaku to Rome, saying that the Gialloro have made an excellent signing and that he is not angry that the Belgian has gone to Rome.

“Roma have made a great signing, he is good for Italian football and he is a great player that we all know. Apart from that, I am very happy with the players I have and I hope they can give us great satisfaction. I’m not angry about Lukaku’s transfer to Roma, I’m just happy that Italian football will have a great player”, said Inzaghi.
