Hazard rejects big Saudi offer, has an idea in mind

Belgian star Eden Hazard has reportedly turned down a huge offer from Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia recently as he considers retiring from football.

Hazard terminated his contract with Real Madrid this summer, becoming a free agent and an attractive name for many clubs around the world.

Many clubs have inquired about the 32-year-old, ranging from Crystal Palace, Ligue 1 side Nice, Marseille and Lille to Botafogo and an unnamed MLS club.

The winger is said to have recently accepted a big offer from Al Hilal, but he also rejected it like every other club.

According to journalist Dahbia Hattabi from Footmercato, Hazard wants to put his career as a professional player on hold as he is currently focused on spending his free time with his family.

There is still a chance that the former Real Madrid player will agree to join a Turkish club in the coming weeks.

A few weeks ago, the striker said that he still feels like a professional footballer and has enough ‘fuel’ in the tank to continue.

Hazard has failed at Real Madrid, scoring 7 goals and providing 12 assists in 76 appearances for Los Blancos from 2019 to 2023.
