Milan rejects the sale of Kalulu to Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich are looking to sign Pierre Kalulu to replace Inter target Benjamin Pavard, but Milan are said to have no intention of selling the Frenchman.

The Nerazzurri have long agreed terms for Pavard, but the Bavarian giants have made it clear they will not sign off on his €32m move to the Lombardy capital until they secure a replacement.

Kalulu has emerged as a key target for Bayern, who hope to sign the 23-year-old on a loan deal with an option to buy attached, but time is running out in the summer transfer window.

According to the Tuttosport newspaper, Milan has no intention of agreeing to send Kalulu to Bayern on loan, but is only willing to settle for offers of at least 35 million euros.

Stefano Pioli considers the French defender an essential part of his squad and the Bundesliga giants’ delayed interest makes finding a replacement extremely difficult.

Last season, Kalulu saw over 3,400 minutes played in a total of 46 appearances for Milan in all competitions.
