The “Kylian Mbappe saga” is ending: It is reported that the Frenchman will confirm his future in the coming days

Paris Saint-Germain are now confident Kylian Mbappe will sign a new contract with them after opting to stay this summer, reports The Athletic’s Mario Cortegana.

They believe the French forward is now closer to signing a new contract with them than he was in the 2021/22 season, when a similar deadlock occurred.

Mbappe may have communicated to the Ligue 1 club about his decision to agree a new deal with them.

Despite recently having offers to renew his contract rejected, the Parisians believe they can get him to agree a new deal later this season.

Real Madrid failed to sign Mbappe this summer and hope he will not renew his contract, with the current one expiring in the summer of 2024.

If the 24-year-old striker renews, then Los Blancos will eventually close the door on him and look at other targets.
