Italian midfielder Cher Ndour made his debut for PSG on Sunday and was congratulated by superstar Kylian Mbappe.
Ndour had joined the French club from Benfica in the summer and made his first-team debut in a 4-1 win over Lyon. Ndour was introduced in the last four minutes with PSG 4-1.
The 19-year-old reacted to his debut and PSG’s victory with an Instagram post that was liked by more than 180,000 people, including his team-mate Mbappe.
Even the French superstar congratulated the Italian midfielder after the match, hugging him inside the tunnel.
Ndour became European champions with Italy’s U19s last summer, beating Portugal in the final.
Born in Brescia on July 27, 2004, he played in the youth section of Le Rondinelle before joining Atalanta and then Benfica. During his time in Portugal, he became the youngest player to make his debut for Benfica’s B team, beating Joao Felix’s record.
Ndour has signed a contract until June 2028 with PSG.
