Joao Felix completed his loan move to Barcelona on the last day of the summer transfer window from Atletico Madrid.
The Portuguese’s desire was only Barcelona and despite other offers he waited until the end to join the Catalans.
Felix, at the time of the presentation to the Catalan giant, declared that he has made a childhood dream come true.
“Everyone knows how happy I am. I have worked to be in this club. It’s a childhood dream, I came here to help and I hope it will be a great season,” Felix said at the time of the presentation.
But now Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo has revealed that Felix has turned down three Premier League teams for Barcelona.
Manchester United, Aston Villa and Liverpool were the three teams that tried to transfer the Portuguese, but Felix himself was the one who rejected them.
Moreover, the Reds were ready for an exchange between him and Darwin Nunez. But, in the end, everything went according to Felix’s plans, who was clear about his objective and the idea of playing only with Barca.
