Mason Greenwood made his Getafe debut, his first game in more than 20 months

Mason Greenwood has entered the field of play from the reserve bench, to make his debut with the Spanish team Getafe.

The 77th minute was taking place in the match that Getafe was playing with Osasuna and the result was 2-2. The local coach, Jose Bordalas, signaled the Englishman to get ready to enter the game.

Greenwood entered the field to replace former Real Madrid player Juanmi Latasa, the fans welcomed him with huge applause.

This was the first time Greenwood had played a football match for the first time in 20 months, while his last appearance dates back to January last year, in the match that Manchester United held against West Ham.


The 21-year-old was suspended from the Manchester United team after being suspected of raping and physically assaulting his girlfriend.
