
Dominik Szoboszlai has revealed how Jurgen Klopp inspired Liverpool’s comeback against Wolves with his half-time speech.
Liverpool had a poor first-half against Wolves on Saturday, going into the break 1-0 down, but luckily for them, the home side missed a host of chances, leaving them hoping for a second-half comeback. .
Klopp changed tactics after the first half, made some changes, and gave an emotional speech, the Hungarian midfielder said.
After talking to the club’s official website, the 22-year-old said: “During the break, the coach let us know what we needed in the second half, he told us about the work and passion we had to show during the match. I think we changed the formation and then each of us did our job and we got the result back.”
Klopp admitted after the game that Liverpool were too weak during the first half, as his team managed to win three important points in the end, thanks to goals from Cody Gakpo and Andrew Robertson, and an own goal from Hugo Bueno.
