Reliable journalist Ben Jacobs has shared the latest update on Mohamed Salah and the ongoing rumors linking him with a move to Saudi Arabia.
The journalist wrote for the medium GiveMeSport, saying that Liveprooli must prepare for “life without Salah”.
“Liverpool are aware that Salah is likely to leave in 2024, even though his contract expires in 2025,” Jacobs originally wrote.
“And while they were able to get a figure of €175m from Al Ittihad this summer, it will be much harder to turn down good money if Salah wants a move within a year, because then he will only have one more contract year”.
“If Salah commits to Liverpool again this year and then says he wants to leave, then Liverpool may have to start planning for life without Salah.”
“That kind of money could be very important to Liverpool for a number of transfer windows as well. And there is absolutely no doubt that the Saudi team will return for Salah”, concluded the well-known journalist.
So it all depends on the Egyptian and whether he really wants that move or not. The forward has two goals and four assists in five games so far this season.
