The reigning champion of Europe dominated the Serbian team, but conceded the first goal despite several attempts.

City’s dominance was rewarded with another goal in the 73rd minute, when Spanish midfielder Rodri scored this time for 3-1.
There were no more goals until the end and City started the new season in the Champions League with a win.
The reigning champion leads Group G with three points, as does RB Leipzig, who won 1-3 on the trip to YB Bern.
