Paris Saint-Germain have secured a 2-0 victory in their Champions League opener against Dortmund.

The match started badly for the visiting team as they were forced to make their first substitution in the 14th minute of the match with Marcel Sabitzer leaving due to injury to make way for Felix Nmechas.

The first serious chance for a goal came in the 19th minute when Vitinha, after receiving a good pass inside the area, made a powerful shot which ended up on the left post of Kobel.

In the 40th minute, the match was stopped on the pretext that Niklas Sule caused a penalty inside the area, but after the VAR review, referee Jesus Manzano said that there was nothing illegal.

With this result (0-0) the two teams went to the locker room.

As the second half began, in the 47th minute of the match, Paris managed to win a penalty, which Kylian Mbappe converted into a goal (1-0).

After the scored goal, Parisi did not stop and continued to try to score a goal.

They found it only after about ten minutes, where they managed to double the lead with a beautiful goal by Achraf Hakimi who miraculously used Vitinha’s assist (2-0).

The first chance for a goal in this match for Dortmund came in the 79th minute when new signing Jamie Bynoe-Gittens made a precise shot that stopped on the post.

By the end of the match both teams had their chances, but the score remained as it was earlier, and Paris got their first win in the group stage.
