Marcus Rashford has spoken about Manchester United’s recent poor results, citing the factors that he believes have influenced these performances.
Speaking to the club’s official website, Rashford said life is difficult when Manchester United lose a game.
“The first thing is, I don’t care what role you have in the team or in the technical staff, when Manchester United loses a game, life becomes more difficult”, Rashford said initially.
According to the Englishman, each member of the team must look at himself in the mirror and give everything for the shirt.
“Each member of the team must look at himself in the mirror and give everything for this title. You know you have this ability, otherwise you wouldn’t be here.”
In continuation, the English representative said that they should work hard in the defense phase, and emphasized that each match is different from one another and requires something more.
“We have to fix some things in the defensive phase and play football. “Every game requires different things, and in many cases when a game doesn’t go as planned, we have a problem adapting to the circumstances,” concluded Rashford.
Marcus Rashford has managed to find the back of the net on just one occasion this season. He scored United’s only goal in a 3–1 defeat to Arsenal in the fourth round of the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Manchester United are mired in a ‘mini-crisis’ of results, as the Red Devils find themselves winless in their last three games in all competitions.
After the first five rounds played in the Premier League, they are ranked 13th in the classification table with six collected points, while in the opening challenge of the Champions League they suffered with a score of 4:3 against Bayern Munich.
