Thiago Alcantara is expected to be Liverpool’s first departure in the January transfer window.

The Spanish midfielder has not yet played this edition as he is injured.

His return is not known when it will happen, but it is not that Liverpool are suffering from his absence.

The 32-year-old is expected to leave Afneidl in the January transfer window as his contract expires in the summer and the Reds do not want to lose him for nothing.

Various media in England have reported that Thiago could return to La Liga where Villarreal, Sevilla and Betis have shown interest in him.

A championship that is being evaluated by Thiago is also that of Saudi Arabia, with Al Ahli, Al-Ettifaq and Al Shabbab wanting the Spaniard.

Liverpool would be delighted to receive an offer of around €10m in January for Thiago.
