The victory against Genoa leaves Milan with consequences, two big absences against Juventus

Milan will not be able to count on the services of Theo Hernandez and Mike Maignan when they face Juventus on October 22 at San Siro.

Theo received a yellow card for a tackle on Morten Frendrup, while Mike Maignan was shown a straight red card against Genoa on Sunday night.

This led to the automatic activation of the one-match suspension due to the accumulation of yellow cards, which leads us to understand that Hernandez will not play against Juventus.

This was not the best way to celebrate my 26th birthday, which was yesterday.

Theo’s absence is the next concern for Stefano Pioli, who cannot even count on the services of Theo’s natural replacement, Pierre Kalulu, who is yet to recover from injury.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Rade Krunic, Ismael Bennacer and Mattia Caldara will also likely be sidelined.

An alternative for the Reds and Blacks could be Alessandro Florenzi, who can play on both sides of the defense, while Marco Sportiello is now expected to be activated in goal.

So far this season, Theo Hernandez has featured in eight games in all competitions, most recently scoring a goal in a 4-1 win over Torino.
