James Maddison savagely stung Trent Alexander-Arnold ahead of the Tottenham v Liverpool match when the pair met ahead of this month’s England games.
Spurs beat Liverpool 2-1 last month, as a last-minute Joel Matip own goal saw the North London side secure a dramatic victory.
But the Premier League game was completely marred by a VAR error which saw the officials inexplicably deny Luis Diaz a legitimate goal.
The international break has seen the Spurs and Liverpool players meet, with Maddison and Alexander-Arnold named in the England squad for their upcoming matches.
And ahead of England’s game against Australia on Friday, the Spurs star took a jab at his Three Lions counterpart.
He posted a photo of himself looking at the Liverpool player, who appears to be protesting in the image, with the caption: “Still looking for a replay.”
A joke between the pair, as Maddison put emojis on the photo to show it was a showdown now past.
