Inter reopens talks with Porto for Mehdi Taremi

Inter’s interest in Mehdi Taremi has not waned, a striker already in their orbit during the summer transfer window, which eventually brought Sanchez, Thuram and Arnautovic to Milan to replace Lukaku, Dzeko and Correa.

The reason why the transfer of the Iranian to Inter didn’t happen is because Porto refused to negotiate according to the conditions set by the Italian club.

So the Nerazzurri were looking for a new striker. Inzaghi understood that it would be impossible to reach Morata, who was one of the Italian’s favorite options, and thus requested the transfer of Arnautovic, just because he would not have problems with adaptation.

As almost two months have passed since the closing of the transfer window, the sporting director, Piero Ausilio, has once again shown interest in the tall striker.

Taremi could leave for free in the summer and in January he would be free to choose his next destination. That is why Inter considered it appropriate to initiate new contacts with the player and his agents.

Now the aim of the Inter board is to understand if Taremi has finally decided to try a new adventure and in case he has made this decision, then the Italian giants will undoubtedly race to secure his signature.
