Musiala suspends talks on contract renewal with Bayern – this is the reason

Jamal Musiala is one of the best footballers in the Bundesliga without a doubt and one of the biggest talents in Europe.

Bayern Munich had transferred him in 2019 from Chelsea for only 200 thousand euros, while his value is now over 100 million.

The reigning champion of Germany is trying to arm their star with a new contract, but the talks have been suspended.

It was the big German newspaper Sport Bild that reported that the representatives of the offensive midfielder have stopped the talks at the request of Musiala.

The 20-year-old currently earns only 2.6 million euros net per season, or 11 million less than the highest-paid player in the Bavarians, Harry Kane.

Still according to Bild, the reason the talks have stalled has to do with the club’s improper valuation of the player as he aims to earn a salary close to Bayern’s highest-paid players.

The talks have stopped, but they can start at the moment when the leaders of the German giant decide to offer over 10 million euros in salary for their star.

Top European teams such as Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool are monitoring the player’s situation and are ready to intervene for his transfer.

However, it is unlikely that Bayern will allow the star of the team to leave, and an agreement is expected to be reached between the parties.
