Chelsea are considering a surprise move for Aaron Ramsdale

Aaron Ramsdale could leave Arsenal during the winter transfer window in January.

The English goalkeeper has lost his starting place at the Gunners as coach Mikel Arteta continues to trust the Spaniard David Raya

Arsenal fans’ fears that Ramsdale could leave are on the verge of becoming a reality, as the Englishman is on Chelsea’s wish list.

Reporter Ben Jacobs has cleared the air on the speculation, but there is still a chance Ramsdale could leave the club if David Raya continues to start ahead of him.

“It is true that there will be many clubs that will monitor his situation, including Chelsea,” said Jacobs.

“Ramsdale wants to play to try and push Jordan Pickford for England’s starting spot at Euro 2024 in goal. And he can’t do that from the bench.”

“But so far Chelsea has not made any kind of serious move, however I can do such a thing during January”, said the English journalist.

The 25-year-old has played six games this season with Arsenal, four in the Premier League and two more in the FA Cup.

However, Arsenal can give up the English goalkeeper if an offer of around 30 million euros comes in January.
