England midfielder Jude Bellingham has been in scintillating form since joining Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund in the summer. In 12 games in all competitions, he has scored 11 goals, the latest of which came in the 1-2 win over Braga in the Champions League on Tuesday night.
However, Bellingham did not play the full game as he was replaced by Lucas Vazquez late in the game.
He was slowly moving towards a substitute, holding his hip before taking his place on Real Madrid’s bench.
As such, according to newspaper Mundo Deportivo, this has sparked fears of his availability against Barcelona on Saturday in El Clasico.
Bellingham would be a big miss for Real Madrid if he misses El Clasico, so Real Madrid and manager Carlo Ancelotti will be praying that the issue is nothing serious and that he will be able to train for the game in the weekend.
That wasn’t the only issue Real Madrid had to deal with on Tuesday. Joselu Mato missed the game against Braga after falling ill shortly before kick-off, while Antonio Rudiger appeared to have picked up a nasty cramp late in the game.
