Ancelotti updates on Bellingham’s health before El Clasico

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has insisted Jude Bellingham is available to face Barcelona in El Clasico tomorrow (Saturday).

Bellingham came off in the 89th minute in Real Madrid Madrid’s 2-1 win over Braga in the Champions League on Tuesday.

The Spanish newspaper El Partidazo reported that the English superstar was suffering from a muscle problem, but that this would not prevent him from playing against Barcelona.

Ancelotti has confirmed that the 20-year-old will be available for Real Madrid in a pre-match press conference.

“Bellingham? He is fine”, said the Italian technician when asked about the midfielder’s situation.

This is good news for Madrid fans as the Englishman has been the main protagonist of the La Liga giants this season. He has scored 11 goals and made three assists in 12 games in all competitions.

Ancelotti even said that he is not worried about Barca’s lineup for El Clasico. Players such as Robert Lewandowski and Frenkie de Jong trained before the match with the rest of the team.

“Barcelona formation? I don’t know, the most important thing for me is that Bellingham will play,” continued Ancelotti.

Real Madrid will enter the match against Barcelona as the leader of the table. They have one point more than the current champions, who are currently in third place.

Jude Bellingham has been key to Ancelotti’s side’s strong start to the season, scoring eight goals in nine La Liga games.

He is the current top scorer in Spanish football’s elite, having scored three more goals than Barcelona’s Lewandowski.
