Juventus find Pogba’s replacement in the Premier League

Juventus are weighing up a move for Arsenal star Thomas Partey in January to replace Paul Pogba in midfield.

The Serie A giants are reportedly planning a January loan move for Partey, according to TuttoJuve.com.

Partey, who has dealt with numerous injuries this season, has only managed to play 341 minutes for the Gunners and is believed to be considering a move away from the club in the upcoming transfer window.

The Ghanaian’s current contract runs until 2025 and if he wants to leave, the north London club will reportedly demand a transfer fee of around €30 million.

The Bianconeri are unlikely to meet the Premier League club’s asking price and will therefore look to take the player on loan.

Massimiliano Allegri is already missing the services of midfielders like Paul Pogba and Nicolo Fagioli.

While Pogba is facing a lengthy ban after testing positive for a banned substance, the Italian is serving a seven-month ban for betting on illegal platforms.

Mikel Arteta’s side face West Ham in the last 16 of the Carabao Cup today (Wednesday), with Partey likely to start the match from the first minute.
