Official: Real Madrid renews Rodrygo, sets a staggering clause

Real Madrid has reached an agreement with the Brazilian striker Rodrygo Goes for the renewal of the contract for the next five years.

The Brazilian striker has spent four years at the Santiago Bernabeu, but will continue to remain a part of Los Blancos for several more years.

It is the official website of Real Madrid, which has announced the renewal of the contract with Rodrygo Goes for another five years.

 

“Real Madrid CF and Rodrygo have agreed to extend the player’s contract, which remains tied to the club until June 30, 2028,” the announcement states.

In addition, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that Real Madrid has set the Brazilian a clause of 1 billion euros.


Otherwise, Rodrygo arrived at Real Madrid in 2019, when he was only 18 years old. He made his debut with Real Madrid Castilla on 14 September and on 25 September scored his first goal on his official debut with Real Madrid.

In his five seasons defending the first team shirt, he played 179 games, in which he scored 39 goals and won 8 titles.
