A year after his transfer, Barcelona is aiming to sell the star of the team

Former Leeds United star Raphinha is not having the best possible time at Barcelona since leaving Elland Road in 2022 and could be offered a route back to the Premier League next year.

A lot has changed at Elland Road since Raphinha left Leeds in the 2021/2022 season after a fantastic season, earning a deserved move to Barcelona next summer.

The English club benefited 55 million euros from the agreement, but the Brazilian has not managed to fulfill the expectations of the blaugranas.

Almost 16 months have passed since Raphinha moved to Camp Nou, as he has 12 goals and 15 assists in 61 appearances, as well as winning La Liga and the Spanish Super Cup.

His first season was successful and there were good signs from the Brazilian, but since then, he has just two goals this season and three assists as Barcelona find themselves four points adrift of leaders Girona.

Barcelona are already targeting a way out and it seems that selling him is the best possible option for them, considering the financial crisis they are facing.

In the event of his departure, Raphinha would not lack offers, as even earlier clubs such as Chelsea and Newcastle had expressed concrete interest in his services.

The Catalans hope to sell the 26-year-old for the same amount they paid to transfer him from the Premier League.
