Lille want much less than in the summer for Jonathan David

Jonathan David has entered his fourth year as a Lille player, although there have been offers for him in every transfer window.

In the summer transfer window, Lille had decided to request 60 million euros for the Canadian, an offer that did not come in the direction of the French team.

Considering that David’s contract expires in the summer of 2025 and his form is fluctuating, the French team have decided to lower their demands for David.

La Gazzetta dello Sport has reported that Lille is ready to let their star leave for an amount of 40 million euros as early as the January transfer window.

Milan, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are the four big teams that have shown interest in the Canadian representative.

The 23-year-old is ready to take the big step in his career, and now even the leaders of Lille know that he wants to leave.

The Canadian representative this season has played 17 official matches, scoring only four goals and assisting in two others.
